Speaking as the parent of a small child, I know that time can be scarce. Sure we’d all love to make and eat elaborate meals, but that’s not always possible. Everyone would like to know: how do I save time cooking? Or more accurately: How do I spend less time cooking and yet still eat healthy? Is there a shortcut to healthy meals?
So what do I personally do when I want a meal on short notice, and there are no leftovers to reheat? I typically use one of the following quick-meal methods:
1. Steaming – How to Choose a Steamer for Steaming Vegetables, Fish, Meatballs, and more
2. Boiling noodles w/ veggies or sauce
3. Blending
